Core Values of BHPI:


Values are an integral part of working in health care as well as helping promote a resilient society. BHPI adopts the core values of CRP. The following are the core values of BHPI, to be followed by and practiced by its students, faculty and staff members:

1. Sensitivity: Sensitivity implies the reaction of a member of BHPI towards the needs of an individual/society.

2. Compassion: Actual empathetic communication improves the therapeutic efficiency of the clinician -patient’s relationship.

3. Respect: Respect helps in the synchronization and harmony of a team. This practice will mitigate conflict among Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) members.

4. Collaboration: This is a very important component of team building ability. It allows the members to cooperate within a team.

5. Commitment to excellence: It interprets the effort of an individual/department/unit towards further development. It is a never-ending goal.

6. Cleanliness: It is a state of being clean and free from germs, dust, or waste and the habit of achieving and maintaining that state. Cleanliness is often achieved through cleaning.
